Soy Candles-CT River Candles

CT River Candles was inspired by the beauty of the Connecticut River and a personal love of creating handmade products. The CT River photographs capture the essence of this truly amazing Natural resource and also gives their Mason Jr Soy Candles that unique edge.

I had a wonderful opportunity to review and giveaway a Soy candle from CT River Candles. The photography is breathtaking and adds simply beauty to the Mason Jar. I requested my candle to be dyed to compliment the scent with a nickle lid. You can request without dye. They are hand poured using 100% natural soy wax-Made in the USA. Soy is a renewable resource and burns much cleaner. The wax has a lower melting point therefore it burns longer and cooler resulting in less soot. You can check out their available scents here.

Shipment was extremely fast. The Mason Jar Soy Candle was securely wrapped. It included a lovely brochure and matchbox matches. I chose Dragon's Blood- it is a strong, earthy fragrance infused with patchouli, cedarwood and orange essential oils. The candle had a clean yet sweet smell. As the Candle burned I noticed it was a melting uneven and the wick had a large carbon ball. I trimmed the wick and removed the carbon ball after 1.5 hours. The melting pool was now perfectly even. There was no residue on the jar as it burned. Everyone smelled a different note. The first scent I notice was the clean scent of Cedarwood with a back note of Patchouli while the orange added sweetness. My family noted a chocolate like scent.

I was very pleased with the quality of the soy. There was no residue on the jar as it burned.  Trimming the wick insures an even melting pool. The photography was simply breathtaking. This is a quality candle that I would gift to family and friends.

Brenda is generous to offer one 16oz Mason soy candle in any scent, lid color, dyed or undyed to one of my readers.
