Lovely Salad

It seems as though my Cholesterol just keeps climbing. It's time for a stricter diet. Meet my new lunch buddy!

  • Mixed green salad with spinach
  • Drained and rinsed Chickpeas
  • Diced Red Bell Peppers
  • Sliced Almonds
  • Feta Cheese
  • Few Raisins
  • Honey
  • Garlic Powder
I never thought I would love a salad as much as this. PLUS it's filling because of the chickpeas. Did you know they are pretty darn good for you too! They seem to do something to cholesterol levels and sugar levels.

Chickpeas have their own mild taste alone but blends with other food in the dish. Seasoning is the key! If you don't like garlic, pick another spice.
