LED stringed lights review & giveaway

Last year we took the plunge and had a deck built in the back, complete with stairs. My husband loves to grill & I love to garden. What a perfect way to spend time outdoors together. Now when he grills
we have easy access to the kitchen for serving or cooking sides. As you can imagine it was an expensive project made possible with my frugal grocery shopping. We lived on a tight budget for 2 years for 3 adults, one toddler, and 7 cats. It didn't leave us with a budget for decorating the space.

This year I started crafting with terra cotta pots, re-purposing old garden fairies and painted dollar store glass for cheap but beautiful decorating. We stocked up on solar lights last summer clearance at various stores. I admit I have a *small* addiction to solar lights. I might have influenced my neighbor's desire for more lights. We call it the neighborhood light war.

It was a close race until I received the
Rtgs Micro LED lights for review. It's been a very hot summer with nighttime storms. I found a break in the pattern to set up these lights on the deck. These lights are tiny and on a flexible wire allowing them to blend in. From the view in the kitchen, you would not notice them during the day. At night it's a different world. These tiny glorious lights illuminate the whole deck floor to ceiling, which is a plus when you have black/white cat always sneaking outside. The wire bends similar to floral wire creating a snug fit around the stiles.

We have a 12x18 ft and the lights stretch outlet just inside the sliding door and two of the 3 railings. Another set would be a tad long but would cover the side railing and down the stairs. There is a thin plastic wire, 6ft connector that connects to the transformer to just where the lights are. These fit perfectly under the sliding door.

I have them strung up for over a week in extreme heat conditions. They have survived strong storms and high winds. Though they were not connected to the transformer at the time of extreme conditions but it was a test of durability.

I was amazed by how bright these grain of rice sized led lights are. I don't doubt they would be perfect for indoor use. They would be an energy efficient replacement for our old Christmas lights. The investment cost of these lights would pay for itself over time.

  1. I lost the set I received for review but I purchased another warm set. I love it! My front window is hard to decorate where you can see everything. These did the trick!
