I was able to share some samples with family and friends. I picked the toughest and dirtiest workers to test the product-Construction workers. I gave four of them a sample for their wives. They loved it. The wives that is. ;-) It's gentle and kept their clothes from fading.

Target toy clearance

Did you catch today's 70% off toy sale? Target runs this sale at the end of every July for the last few years (three that I have participated in). It's becoming more popular. Today we hit the store before noon. The employees were just starting the toy section. I saw 5 other women patiently circling the store until the markdowns were complete. FYI for the 70% to reflect in the price the T-team members must hand scan each toy. I feel for them. Santa finished early for Jr this year.

Homemade Deodorant

The one product I promised myself I would not make was deodorant.  I tried to resist but curiosity got the best of me. Could it really be that simple? I had my doubts. I was faithful to Secret Clinical but not the hefty price. I wasn't crazy about the fragrance choices either but it kept me fresh smelling and mostly dry.

I started my experience in the winter months. I immediately noticed how soft my skin was. By day 3 I was ready to throw in the towel. I was stinky and perspiring like crazy. I had done my research, reading every recipe and comment on varies blogs and websites. I knew day 3 was the hardest. I continued with the experience and am quite happy I did.
